DnB Ranger is the promotional arm of Ranger Records, originally launched as Basilisk Bass in 2016. We support and showcase quality drum & bass from independent artists and labels worldwide.
What kind of music do you promote?
We focus on minimal, liquid, rollers, jungle, and club-ready DnB — with a preference for clean production, character, and depth.
How can I submit music for promotion?
All promo submissions for DnB Ranger are handled through our LabelRadar portal. You can find this in the Promote section on our website. You’ll need to upload an MP3 along with a short description.
Do you promote unsigned artists?
Yes. If the track fits our curation style, we’re happy to promote unsigned and emerging talent.
Do you only promote music from ANZ?
Not at all — while we spotlight artists from Aotearoa and Australia, we promote DNB music from all over the world.
Is there a cost to be featured?
No. Promotion through our YouTube and SoundCloud is based on quality, not pay-to-play. If we love the track, we’ll feature it.
Where are tracks featured?
We post premieres and spotlights on our YouTube and SoundCloud channels, as well as Instagram and other social media platforms.
